DePuy Pinnacle Litigation Update

Similar to the DePuy ASR hip implants, patients who received DePuy Pinnacle hip implants with metal components are experiencing pain, loosening, and popping, among other negative side effects. Although the DePuy Pinnacle was not recalled in August of 2010, like the DePuy ASR, the design is similar.

The pending DePuy Pinnacle cases that were filed in federal court have been consolidated into Multidistrict Litigation (MDL) in the Northern District of Texas. Judge Kinkeade will preside over the litigation and is in the process of selecting the Plaintiffs' Steering Committee.

In the meantime, Goodson & Company is investigating and pursuing DePuy Pinnacle hip implant cases. If you are experiencing problems with a hip replacement, feel free to contact our firm with questions.
