A tragic early morning collision took the lives of a couple in Cincinnati early this morning. The couple’s vehicle went off the side of I-71 and onto another road, striking a second vehicle head on. The driver of the second vehicle, Jeffrey Roark, had to be cut out of his vehicle and is in critical condition. Investigators are searching for witnesses to help understand why the couple’s vehicle went off the interstate.
What should you do when you witness a collision? You should first call 911. If emergency personel has not arrived at the scene, make sure those involved are comfortable, but do not move them, unless it is necessary. It is very important to speak with the investigators to help them figure out of the cause of the collision. Also, make notes of what you saw and save them. You may be called several months later and it is important that you remember exactly what happened.
